Biscuits, or cookies, are small, usually flat or hemispherical cakes. The basic ingredients to make them usually include flour, butter and sugar. However, you can use many flour variations, replace sugar with other sweeteners and butter with plant-based fats or even omit it entirely. Everything depends on the flavour you would like to achieve and if you would like to adjust them to a specific diet.
