Line with parchment paper a 23 cm diameter round baking tin with a removable base, and grease its side.
Preheat the oven to 200C (180C fan ovens).
Mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla and oil in a food processor or with the help of hand mixer.
Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and transfer into the prepared baking tin.
Bake for 60-70 minutes (until a wooden stick inserted into the cake comes out clean).
Prepare the icing by gently heating the cream (don't boil it) and add the chocolate broken into pieces. After 2-3 minutes stir it to combine the ingredients.
Leave it to thicken.
When the cake is cool, spread the icing on its top and sides.
