Instructions
  1. Preheat an oven to 180 Celsius degrees (160 for fan oven).
  2. Grease an oven-proof baking dish with butter.
  3. Peel, core, and cut the apples into slices.
  4. Put them in a mixing bowl, add the cinnamon and sugar, mix well.
  5. In a food processor, whizz the flour, butter, Demerara sugar and almond meal until crumbly.
  6. Spread the crumble mixture evenly on top of the apples, put it in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes till the crumble is golden.
Recipe Notes

*The amount of required sugar depends on the apples. I sometimes don’t add any sugar to the filling if I use sweet apples.
